TRU7 Group come on board as Official Fork Truck Partner

The TRU7 Group has thrown its weight behind DL12 Indoor Trial V2.0 and will provide essential equipment for the event at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on Saturday 13 January 2024 as Official Fork Truck Partner.

Based in East Anglia, the TRU7 Group can trace its history back to 1964 and comprises a variety of companies specialising in plant and tipper hire, earth-moving, aggregate products and concrete. It also has a strong family link to off-road motorcycle sport with Managing Director Jake Nicholls a former top-flight motocross rider who was ranked fourth in the FIM MX2 World Motocross Championship in 2012.

Event co-promoter Dougie Lampkin said: “I am delighted to have the TRU7 Group on board as part of the team for 2024. There is no shortage of big, strong lads on the team, but when muscle alone is not enough we will be putting the TRU7 Fork Trucks to good use when we construct the sections which will be even bigger, better and more technical than this year. On a more personal level, I am really looking forward to working with Jake [Nicholls] and sharing a few stories of our time as professional riders.”

Jake Nicholls, TRU7 Group Managing Director, stated: “I occasionally ride trials and we have quite a few customers who regularly compete so such a high-profile, professional event as the DL12 Indoor Trial is a perfect platform for us and I am proud to be able to support it and have an impact. It does generate business for us – we pride ourselves on having good equipment and I am confident it will stand out and people will see it so this exciting new partnership makes sense – but off-road motorcycling has been my life for so long and I have got such a passion for it so while it sounds a bit clichéd it is good to put something back.”
