V2.0 – It’s coming back bigger and better
Following the huge and undoubted success of the first edition, the DL12 Indoor Trial V2.0 will be back at the Utilita Arena, Sheffield on Saturday 13th January 2024, with a bigger and better show in store thanks to valuable feedback from the fans who attended the inaugural competition. “We were delighted at the public’s response to the event overall, but as with everything there is always room for improvement, so we have listened and will make the tweaks that are needed to make it spot on next time,” explained event creator Dougie Lampkin.
In addition to these enhancements, the DL12 Indoor Trial V2.0 will also incorporate a new element with the launch of ‘Trial Expo’ that will showcase 2024 models from all the UK Trial importers, plus provide the opportunity to buy the latest products from major Trial retailers and other associated key Trial brands / companies, with the total number of stands greatly increased from 2023. Fans will be allowed early access in order to enjoy ‘Trial Expo’ to its full potential, with entry to this additional experience included in the cost of standard tickets purchased via www.dl12indoortrial.co.uk
Also new for 2024 is access to the rider paddock / warm up area and the rider autograph signing session before the event gets underway, again included in the price of a standard ticket.*
The premium packages for 2024 have also been overhauled, with these now being in the form of an upgrade to any standard ticket that is purchased, so fans can select the seat of their choice before then choosing one of the following two upgrade options.
1: Prime: Course preview and tour hosted by Dougie Lampkin. 2 sessions each limited to 200 places.
2: Prime Plus: Course preview and tour hosted by Dougie Lampkin followed by 3 course meal in private hospitality / bar area with Q+A session with all 8 riders between courses. Limited to 75 places.
With the success of the first event still fresh in his mind Dougie Lampkin has already started the planning process for the second coming, as he explained. “Some of the existing sections will be modified for next year, but there will also be some new sections and races too and a bit more floor space to work with, plus a new sound system and a new lighting rig to improve the overall quality of the show.”
Finally, fans will also receive a video link post event so they can relive the entire event by watching the full delayed live programme, again included in the price of a standard ticket.*
With this year’s event having been a total sell out, the number of enquiries already received for 2024 tickets has been exceptionally high, with early indications pointing towards another sell out edition even with the slightly increased seating capacity.
Tickets and premium packages will go on general sale on Friday 24th February subject to availability. Priority will be given to customers who subscribe in advance for pre-sale access, with them able to purchase tickets and premium packages from Wednesday 22nd February.
